Belmont Resource Centre and Library
Librarian and Resource Manager Mrs. Jane Bryce
Assistant Mrs. Louise Hamilton
Belmont Campus has a very well stocked children's library equipped with a large variety of books to suit all ages and ability levels. It also has computers and Internet access.
All children are timetabled for a library session at least once a week and can borrow books on a weekly basis.
The Resource Centre adjoining the Library houses most of the teaching resources from the Campus. All Belmont Campus staff can borrow resources regularly and we currently have over 11,000 items in stock including 500 software titles. Teachers from local schools can also visit the centre for advice on suitable resources to suit their teaching programmes.
All stock in both the library and resource room is catalogued electronically using the
LUNCHTIME CLUB
All pupils in years 8-11 have the opportunity to use the library once a week during lunchtime. They have access to the books, computers, internet, table games, music and videos. The Club is closely supervised at all times.
