The big house is still used today although most of the classrooms are now in temporary huts.

Belmont Campus now has five different Learning Centres, Woodlands, Little Oaks Messines, Hampstead, Troy, and Pennyburn.

All the centres still use the big house as the canteen is there. Penny burn Learning Centre and Troy College also use some of the rooms. The Director of the Campus Mr. Tom Mc Cully has his office just at the main entrance.

We think that it is a lovely old building and we all love the hallway and the sweeping stairs.

We love to go with our teachers and explore all the different rooms and imagine what it would have been like to live here in the 1800s. It is hard to believe that only one family used all these rooms . They must have been very rich.
